Welcome to CartoMaps (accessible at cartomaps.com.br). By accessing, using, or designing maps with our diagrammatic cartography platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Purpose of Service
CartoMaps provides web-based diagrammatic map design tools, interactive timelines, and visual representations of rail and subway networks worldwide. The application is intended for educational, cartographic, and design purposes.
2. Permitted Use & Map Licensing
- Personal & Educational: Users are entitled to design, export, print, and share custom transit map diagrams for personal, academic, research, and non-commercial portfolio presentation with credit to CartoMaps and @mapeandocomjoao.
- Custom Creations: Maps and schematic networks created by users remain their intellectual property and can be exported as
.jsonor vector image files. - Commercial Restrictions: Unlawful reproduction, redistribution, or resale of the platform's core source code without written permission is prohibited.
3. Intellectual Property
The platform design, octolinear routing algorithms, user interface, and branding belong to CartoMaps and its creator João Santos (@mapeandocomjoao). Transit operator names and official networks are referenced solely for geographic information and public representation.
4. Limitation of Liability
While we strive for high historical precision and design accuracy, CartoMaps does not replace real-time navigational apps or official transit operator advisories.
